The depth and range of our partnerships with high quality schools and their exceptional personnel is a cornerstone of our Education Programs. These partnerships allow us to offer a variety of enriching practica experiences through which students can grow and learn.
The Faculty of Education places over 400 student teachers in dozens of local area schools and districts annually. Additionally, the Faculty of Education has placed a range of students in international practica as part an additional international experience opportunity. These placements would not be possible without the support and cooperation of district superintendents and principals, classroom teachers and our field experience supervisors.
Our Sponsor Teachers are Critical to Our Excellence
Our work in preparing teaching professionals distinguished by excellence is supported by our supervising teachers in local and area schools and school districts. These teachers are not only sponsors but mentors encouraging excellence in our pre-service teachers by providing support, counsel, expertise and the wisdom of their years in the field.
